2009-2020 review: Naturalist study, Program analysis, Technical recommendations

Cybelle Méditerranée is one of the oldest participatory science programs dedicated to offshore marine species in France. After 12 years of the program, we have a substantial database on offshore marine fauna. These data have already contributed to the development of numerous scientific publications on very specific subjects, but they have not yet been the subject of a complete review:

  1. a naturalistic assessment in order to observe whether our database makes it possible to highlight trends concerning animal populations.
  2. a socio-technical assessment in order to concretely assess the effectiveness of the program, the successes and the points to be improved.
